Fashion Show & Meet the Designer @ Dundrum SC

2 weeks ago at Dundrum Shopping Centre Stylist Colm Corrigan presented his ideas of  the best looks in SS2014. There were 5 themes of the fashion show: Summer Separates, Matchy Matchy, Sports, White on White & Colour of Summer. Colm had used clothes, shoes and accessories currently available at Dundrum SC. DIT Fashion Show 2014

DIT Fashion Show is an annual event, now in its eleventh year, organised by 70 students from DIT. One of the most rewarding elements for the organising students is the charitable aspect of the show. The DIT Fashion Society is one of 80 societies in DIT involving 6,000 student members. The societies place heavy emphasis on the management of and participation in productions and campaigns such as the Vodafone DIT Fashion Show, with a view to the practical education of the students involved.
Every year this spectacular event attracts attention of numerous fashionists.
Of course I couldn't miss it myself!

Buy My Dress

 Buy My Dress is a one day dress sale of new and once loved dresses organised by Down Syndrome Centre in Ireland.The Down Syndrome Centre was founded by Peter Gaw, a father of four whose two youngest children were born with Down syndrome. Following from the frustrations and lack of support he felt as a parent, he decided to open a centre of excellence for people with Down syndrome where they can receive essential therapies and their parents feel supported and informed.
Buy My Dress is one of the largest one day charity dress sale in Ireland and currently is held in 7 counties. The event will take a place in Dublin (RDS), Waterford, Wexford, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Meath on May 25th. The dresses sell for €5- €50 including designer, boutique and celebrity dresses. This year The Down Syndrome Centre cooperates with Irish fashion bloggers to feature an advice. With great pleasure I support the event myself and decided to donate hot piece from my wardrobe: midi bodycon dress in tartan from Glamorous. The dress will be available in the RDS on 25 th of May.
I wish The Down Syndrome Centre great success with this year's event. And new owner of the Glamorous dress, stylish days of tartan!
